From December 3rd to 6th, the 2025 FIP FINALS Global Finals, the highest-level international padel event, will be held at Jiangwan Sports Center in Yangpu District, Shanghai. Marking its first landing in Asia, the event gathers 64 top players worldwide, allowing local audiences to experience the charm of this emerging sport at their doorstep.

Authorized by the International Padel Federation (FIP) and co-hosted by multiple parties, the event features men's and women's doubles with 16 slots each, adopting a best-of-three sets format. Only doubles pairs with top accumulated points in FIP events this year are eligible, with champions of 8 Platinum/Gold-level events securing direct entry.

The lineup includes top international players such as the champions of the FIP Platinum event in Seville, Spain. In a historic breakthrough, Asian players will appear in this top-level event for the first time, with Chinese players Zhang Bohou (the first Chinese with an FIP ranking) and Zhai Yu (highest-ranked active Chinese female player) participating. The ownership of 1 wildcard has become a focus.

The schedule is compact: the round of 16 and quarterfinals will be held on the 3rd-4th, semifinals on the 5th, and the year-end champions will be determined on the 6th.
